Ádístsiin, made from the díwózhii plant, are typically hung in the kitchen or above the door of the hooghan. This ensures that the household will never be without food. Ádístsiin are used in a girl’s puberty ceremony (kinaaldá yikʼąąs), as well to make Navajo corncake (alkąąd).
