ádístsiin
edit
Noun edit
ádístsiin (possessed form beʼádístsiin)
Usage notes edit
Ádístsiin, made from the díwózhii plant, are typically hung in the kitchen or above the door of the hooghan. This ensures that the household will never be without food. Ádístsiin are used in a girl’s puberty ceremony (kinaaldá yikʼąąs), as well to make Navajo corncake (alkąąd).
