1. to nowhere, not to anywhere

   Ми вчора нікуди не ходили.

   My včora nikudy ne xodyly.

   We went nowhere yesterday.

   Вона нікуди не їздить без телефону.

   Vona nikudy ne jizdytʹ bez telefonu.

   She does not go anywhere without a phone.

Usage notes

ніку́ди (nikúdy) indicates no progress "towards" any destination, rather than "there is no destination" as indicated by ні́куди (níkudy).

Usage notes

ні́куди indicates "no destination", rather than "no place" as indicated by ні́де (níde).
