Usage notes edit

  • The usage of this verb in the imperfective is dated. Modern Russian allows only the use as a perfective.
  • All forms are identical between the perfective and imperfective conjugation, with the exception of родила́ (pf) / роди́ла (impf) and inevitable differences due to the aspect: the perfective has no present participles and uses the present forms of the imperfective for the future.
