Cognate with Kazakh секпіл (sekpıl), Kumyk сепкил (sepkil), Kyrgyz сепкил (sepkil), Southern Altai сепкил (sepkil), Karachay-Balkar сепкил (sepkil), Uzbek sepkil, Tuvan секпил (sekpil, freckle).
