Etymology edit

From *տի- (*ti-, of the habitation) +‎ եզերք (ezerkʻ, borders). The first component is also found in տի-կին (ti-kin) and տէր (tēr) and is inherited from Proto-Indo-European *déms, the genitive of *dṓm (house).[1][2][3][4][5]

Alternatively, from տի- (ti-, un-, a prevocalic variant of տ- (t-)) +‎ եզերք (ezerkʻ), literally the unbounded.[6][7][8][9][10]
