דְּאָגָה (d'agá) (plural indefinite form דְּאָגוֹת, singular construct form דַּאֲגַת־, plural construct form דַּאֲגוֹת־)

  1. (countable and uncountable) Worry, a worry: a feeling of worry.
    • Proverbs 12:25:
      דְּאָגָה בְלֶב־אִישׁ יַשְׁחֶנָּה וְדָבָר טוֹב יְשַׂמְּחֶנָּה׃
      d'agá b'lev-ísh yashkhéna v'davár tov y'sam'khéna.
      Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.[1]
