י־ב־שׁ (y-b-š) |
From the root י־ב־שׁ (y-b-sh); compare יָבֵשׁ (yavésh, “dry”).
Verb edit
ייבש / יִבֵּשׁ • (yibésh) third-singular masculine past (pi'el construction, passive counterpart יובש / יֻבַּשׁ)
- (transitive) To dry, to dry out: to cause to become dry.
- ייבשתי את זה. — yibáshti et ze. — I dried it.
Usage notes edit

Antonyms edit
- (antonym(s) of “dry”): הִרְטִיב (hirtív)
Derived terms edit
