Etymology edit

Apparently from מ־ (mi-) +‎ Egyptian kns (pubic region), although a derivation from the Hebrew root’s idea of “drawing” is also possible.

  1. Pants, breeches, drawers, trousers: a garment for the legs, with a separate sleeve for each leg.
