اِضْمَحَلَّ (iḍmaḥalla) IVq, non-past يَضْمَحِلُّ‎ (yaḍmaḥillu)

  1. to disappear, to vanish
    لِلْبَاطِلِ جَوْلَةٌ ثُمَّ يَضْمَحِلُّ
    lilbāṭili jawlatun ṯumma yaḍmaḥillu
    Falsehood has a period of time and then fades away
  2. to decay, to decrease
  3. to dwindle, to fade away
