اِنْدَلَقَ (indalaqa) VII, non-past يَنْدَلِقُ‎ (yandaliqu)

  1. to be spilled, to be poured
    Synonym: اِنْسَكَبَ (insakaba)
    طعَنَهُ فَانْدَلَقَتْ أَقْتَاب بَطْنِهHe stabbed him and his guts spilled out.
  2. to rush forward, to come forth
    انْدَلَقَتْ الخَيْلThe horses came forth.
  3. (a torrent) to come suddenly, to pour forth (on some people)
  4. to precede
  5. (a door) to shut again (after being opened but it won't remain open)
