Etymology

Inherited from Prakrit 𑀲𑀺𑀝𑁆𑀞 (siṭṭha), Sanskrit सृष्ट (sr̥ṣṭá). Cognate with Saraiki سَٹَّݨ (saṭṭaṇ), Sindhi سَٽَڻُ (saṭaṇu) and Nepali सिट्टो (siṭṭo).
