Etymology edit

Adapted from Sanskrit गर्जति (gárjati).[1] Doublet of گَاجْنَا (gājnā). Compare Maithili गरजब (garᵊjab) / 𑒑𑒩𑒖𑒥 (garajaba), Punjabi ਗਰਜਣਾ (garjaṇā) / گَرجݨا (garjṇā), Gujarati ગરજવું (garajvũ), Marathi गरजणे (garajṇe).
