Inherited from Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀞𑀟𑁆𑀠 (ṭhaḍḍha) + Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀓- (-ka-), from Sanskrit स्तब्ध (stabdha), from Proto-Indo-Aryan *stabdʰás, from Proto-Indo-Iranian *stabdʰás, from Proto-Indo-European *stebʰ-tó-s. Doublet of स्तब्ध (stabdh).
