    • c. 1700 BCE – 1200 BCE, Ṛgveda 8.79.2:
      अभ्यूर्णोति यन्नग्नं भिषक्ति विश्वं यत्तुरम् ।
      प्रेमन्धः ख्यन्निः श्रोणो भूत् ॥
      abhyūrṇoti yannagnaṃ bhiṣakti viśvaṃ yatturam.
      premandhaḥ khyanniḥ śroṇo bhūt.
      [Soma] covers over all that is bare, he cures all that is sick;
      The blind man sees, the cripple walks.
