Etymology edit

Inherited from Old Marathi 𑘨𑘰𑘽𑘐𑘪𑘯𑘲 (rāṃgavaḷī), from Sanskrit रङ्गावलि (raṅgāvali).[1] Compare Hindustani رَن٘گولی (raṅgolī) / रंगोली (raṅgolī).
