- બૌદ્ધ ધર્મ ઈશ્વરને ભલે ન માનતો હોય પણ આત્માને માને છે, પણ આત્મા નિત્ય શાશ્વત નથી પણ ક્ષણિક છે... જેમ કે દીવો બળતો હોય તેમાં પ્રતિક્ષણ નવું તેલ આવે છે અને બળે છે.
- bauddh dharma īśvarne bhale na mānto hoya paṇ ātmāne māne che, paṇ ātmā nitya śāśvat nathī paṇ kṣaṇik che... jem ke dīvo baḷto hoya temā̃ pratikṣaṇ navũ tel āve che ane baḷe che.
- Although Buddhism may not believe in God, it believes in the soul, but the soul is not eternal but transitory... Like a burning lamp, new oil is drawn up every moment and burns.
