From คา (kaa, still (in, at, with, etc)) +‎ หนัง (nǎng, skin) +‎ คา (kaa, idem) +‎ เขา (kǎo, horn); literally "still with skin, still with horns"; describing a person who steals a beast of burden and is caught with the animal's skin and horns in possession.
