Etymology edit
Developed from earlier დროშაკი (drošaḳi), like დანა (dana) from დანაკი (danaḳi), borrowed from Old Armenian դրօշակ (drōšak), itself from Middle Iranian. An Armenian mediation has to be assumed because of the -ო- (-o-). Doublet of დრაუჟი (drauži), borrowed directly from Iranian.
