Etymology edit

Unknown. Beside this word, there is ἐντῡ́νω (entū́nō, to equip, get ready): as it recalls ἀρτῡ́νω (artū́nō), it may have been built after this verb. A basic noun *ἐντύς (*entús) could be assumed. Connection with ἄνῡμι (ánūmi, to finish, conclude) is impossible.
