  1. Volitional/conjectural form of です (desu), used to present a supposition.
    明日(あした)いい(てん)()でしょう
    Ashita wa ii tenki deshō.
    It will be good weather tomorrow.
    (げん)(ざい)いろいろな()(ろん)あるでしょう
    Genzai iroiro na iron mo aru deshō.
    There will probably be various kind of different opinion now.
    (はつ)(ばい)される()(のう)(せい)は、(ひく)でしょう
    Hatsubai sareru kanōsei wa, hikui deshō ne.
    It is unlikely that it will ever be released.
  2. Volitional/conjectural form of です (desu), indicates question.
    このパソコンあなたでしょう
    Kono pasokon wa anata no deshō.
    Is this PC yours?
    昨日(きのう)(おく)った(しゃ)(しん)()でしょう
    Kinō okutta shashin wa mita deshō.
    Did you see the photo I sent you yesterday?
