三两半药酒 (simplified, Pinyin sānliǎngbàn yàojiǔ, traditional 三兩半藥酒)

  1. A clear, yellowish-brown liquid used in traditional Chinese medicine "to invigorate qi and promote blood circulation, to dispel wind, and to remove obstruction from the collaterals in the treatment of incoordination between qi and blood, pain in the extremities, wind and dampness, and cramps". It is usually not prescribed to patients with hypertension.
