  1. A brownish-yellow to pale brown powder used in traditional Chinese medicine, applied externally by being sprinkled onto affected area, "to counteract toxicity, induce subsidence of swelling, remove damp and relieve itching in the treatment of sores with exudation, chronic ulcer, impetigo, tinea pedis due to blood stasis and retention of damp-toxins".
