- pale brownish lumps of tea used in traditional Chinese medicine "to expel wind and induce diaphoresis, to remove toxic heat, in the treatment of cold due to wind-heat in infants, fever, distension and pain of the head, cough and sticky sputum, painful swelling of the throat, and influenza"
