  1. A pink and lustrous pill used in traditional Chinese medicine "to tonify the kidney and promote virility in the treatment of listlessness, impotence, seminal emission, soreness and weakness of the back and legs, and aching of the loins and abdomen with a cold sensation caused by deficiency of the kidney yang".
