Kanji in this term
Grade: 1 ふ > ぶ
Grade: S
irregular
Alternative spelling
氣觸れる (kyūjitai)

Etymology edit

Uncertain, but likely an extension of the potential or realis form (かぶ)れる (kabureru, to be covering something) of root verb (かぶ) (kaburu, to put on, to put on top of something), from the sense of “to be covered by”.

The use of the kanji 気触 is probably an instance of jukujikun (熟字訓).
