  1. A brown pill used in traditional Chinese medicine "to warm the kidney and cause diuresis in the treatment of edema due to deficiency in the kidney, accompanied by a sensation of heaviness in the loins and knees and oliguria, and the retention of body fluids with dyspnea and cough".
