  1. A brown powder used in traditional Chinese medicine "to dispel summer-heat, restore consciousness and counteract toxicity in the treatment of heat stroke with syncope, dizziness, a feeling of stuffiness in the chest, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea."
