    Synonyms: -at/-et, -tat/-tet, -jt/-ajt/-ejt, -ít, -dít, (obsolete in this sense) -t
    ‎fürdik (“to bathe oneself”) + ‎-öszt → ‎füröszt (“to bathe someone”)

Usage notes edit

  • (causative suffix) Variants:
    -aszt is added to back-vowel words
    -eszt is added to unrounded front-vowel words
    -öszt is added to rounded front-vowel words
