Dasypodidae
- A taxonomic family within the order Cingulata.
- (sensu lato) All the armadillos and their apparent close relatives.
- (sensu stricto) The armadillos of genus Dasypus and their extinct closest relatives.
Usage notes edit
- The broad (sensu lato) circumscription of Dasypodidae has been found paraphyletic. Genera other than Dasypus now constitute Chlamyphoridae.
