EtymologyEdit

Abbreviated from elinkeino-, liikenne- ja ympäristökeskus, which is joint regional office of three ministries, työ- ja elinkeinoministeriö (Ministry of Employment and the Economy), ympäristöministeriö (Ministry of the Environment) and liikenne- ja viestintäministeriö (Ministry of Transport and Communications).
