Français : La souche devait être retirée avant de pouvoir construire le nouveau kiosque ; par ailleurs, les matériaux utilisés pour tenter de renforcer la base du tronc empêchaient l’utilisation d’une tronçonneuse. Il a donc été décidé de procéder à un abattage à culée noire, c’est-à-dire un arrachage de l’arbre, afin de l’abattre sans tronçonneuse tout en créant un effet de levier pour arracher la souche.
English: The stump had to be removed before building the new kiosk; furthermore, the materials used to try a reinforcement of the trunk prevented using a chainsaw. It was consequently decided to uproot it, to fell it without chainsaw while leveraging the stump to uproot it. |
