Description
English: An optogram, an image on the retina of a rabbit, using an alum solution to fix the rhodopsin in the eye like a photographic negative. The image is a window the rabbit was facing before it was killed and dissected. The image was produced in 1878 by the German physiologist Wilhelm Friedrich Kühne.
