This was indeed a surprise when walking along the seafront today in Weston-Super-Mare! I reckon this Toyota Celica's been stolen and then driven onto the beach here, only to get stuck in the extremely sticky mud/sand. It's already been there for a while, as the tide's already risen and covered the car, filling inside. Almost certainly a write-off, the sea water can be really damaging. It'll take a bit of time to get this out to- it looked well wedged in here. This was located a good 2-300 metres away from the high tide mark, well onto the beach. Quite how it's managed to get so far in the sand is beyond me.
I ruined my shoes getting these shots- you couldn't stand still for more than a few seconds without sinking to your ankles!
Luckily for fellow Flickr member ukpaseoclub, it's not a Paseo, but it's fairly similar, and still a sad sight. It's horrible that someone can steal something like this, probably someone's pride and joy.
