Summary
| Description |
English: A diagram of a scotia molding at a corner, to show its face and transect. The background shading was rendered with the Cycles Renderer in Blender, with a planar light source illuminating the scotia at an azimuth of 30° left of the direction of view and from an altitude 30° from the zenith. This scotia was constructed with two circular arcs, one twice the radius of the other: but note that C. Howard Walker advised against circular arcs in moldings in The Theory of Mouldings (1926). |
