1. (mathematics) The conjecture that every domain of $\mathbb {R} ^{d}$ (i.e. subset of $\mathbb {R} ^{d}$ with positive finite Lebesgue measure) is a spectral set if and only if it tiles $\mathbb {R} ^{d}$ by translation.
