From a local Celtic substrate language: a superlative in *-isamo- from either *ɸletos (breath) or *ɸlētos (grey). So, either from Proto-Celtic *ɸletisamā (the broadest one) or from Proto-Celtic *ɸlētisamā (the greyest one).[1] Cognate with Spanish Ledesma and French Louesme.
