Suffixed with +‎ *-ëda, but the root is uncertain; it may be a variant of *vaiva, or a separate borrowing from Proto-Germanic [Term?] (whence Gothic 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐌷𐌾𐍉 (waihjō)).
