*q̇al- (Fähnrich–Sarǯvelaʒe)

  1. penis

Reconstruction notes edit

According to Klimov and Fähnrich–Sarǯvelaʒe, here also belongs Svan ყლაუ̂ (q̇laû, boy), however Čuxua together with dialectal Georgian ღლავი (ɣlavi, young boy) derives it from Proto-Kartvelian *ɣlaw-; for the word-initial Svan () ~ Georgian (ɣ) correspondence, compare Proto-Kartvelian *q̇wiz₁-, *q̇welp-.
