Celtic māros ‘big, great’ is currently listed under two different PIE roots:
- meh₁- (> moh₁-rós)
- meh₂- (> meh₂-rós)
The māros page itself quotes moh₁-rós. But it also says cognate with Ancient Greek -μωρος, which is listed under meh₂- rather than meh₁. I guess that meh₂- is right and meh₁ is wrong? --Caoimhin (talk) 14:12, 4 September 2017 (UTC) and [Metron] of Greek is the word it is based on. RCNesland (talk) 18:51, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
