Robinson Crusoe Island

Etymology edit
Renamed in 1966 by the Chilean government, after the fictional castaway Robinson Crusoe: the island was home to the marooned sailor Alexander Selkirk from 1704 to 1709, and is thought to have inspired the novel. The island was previously called Más a Tierra.
