Södra Ljunga

Etymology edit
Compound of södra (“south”) + ljunga (“heaters; moor”). Originally only Ljunga, but södra (“south”) was added in 1886 to differentiate from Norra Ljunga in Västbo hundred.[1]
Earliest known form attested since 1374 as Medieval Latin parochia Lyonga.[1]
