Etymology

In Spanish, the main word for shoes are zapatos. It appears zapatos is related to сапоги. This would connect Russian to French, Italian, Portuguese and more. Of course, shoes are an old concept so it could be an old word. Sdarwin2 (talk) 13:01, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
