The claim of Persian origin was added by user ZxxZxxZ on 20 July 2012 without citation. I can't see such a thing on Oxford dictionaries nor Collins. There's an interesting comment on the Collins page by an Iranian user just one month after this page was changed: "The word origin is from Persian Limu, you really disappointed me with your incorrect information". Seems like something related to a Persian media campaign --Abbad (talk) 18:55, 20 October 2013 (UTC).
