Stroke order is fine for both Chinese and Japanese -_- Nibiko (talk) 09:43, 25 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

隸定字、隸變字 edit

I don't know anything about the 隸變 yet- here's a definition: [1]

The definition gives an example saying that the 秊 character is a 隸定字 whereas the 年 character is a 隸變字. Based on what I read, I added a note about this to the glyph origin. --Geographyinitiative (talk) 10:03, 21 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Mandarin pronunciation edit

I don't hear the final "n" in File:Zh-nián.ogg. I don't know Chinese but all pronunciation examples I found on Forvo include "n" at end. Should we remove the pronunciation file from the entry as broken and mark it with commons:Template:Low quality? --Derbeth talk 16:23, 5 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Derbeth: It's maybe not as standard, but it sounds pretty natural. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 16:31, 5 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Derbeth: I hear the final n. It's just quite subtle. It sounds like what I would expect to hear from someone with a Beijing accent. The dog2 (talk) 03:46, 6 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
