- According to Guoyu Cidian on-line dictionary, it can mean garrulous or talkative when used in terms such as 碎嘴子. Apparently, this is a colloquial usage which is prevalent in the Beijing area. -- A-cai 20:02, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

- I have added the additional meaning. However, I have categorized it as "literary" instead of "slang." My reasoning is that, in my experience, you would never hear it used in this way by itself. It would have to be a part of another word. For such cases, the written character may still be understood as potentially having this meaning, hence "literary." -- A-cai 23:05, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
