Traditional form? edit

Why does the traditional form listed here have a completely different definition? Badagnani 01:44, 12 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Entry needs to state whether this character is simplified or traditional edit

This entry needs to state whether this character is simplified or traditional. Badagnani 07:13, 25 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

This is an interesting one. has four meanings:
  1. n. surface; outside; external
  2. v. to show; to express
  3. n. table; form; list
  4. n. (wrist) watch
Only the fourth meaning (watch) has a separate traditional form . This is a case where two traditional characters have been combined into one simplified character. This happens from time to time. Another example would be: trad. or or or or , simpl. ().
