Etymology

Does this character have nothing to do with storks than simply a phonetic borrowing from 雚, or is there indeed an implication that this implies a way of looking similar to a stork, as Alan Watts speaks about in his talks about Chinese philosophy? 71.66.97.228 21:32, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
