glyph origin of 陰? edit

shuowen states its a phono-semantic compound of semantic 阜 and phonetic 侌, but more likely in current form a phono-semantic compound of semantic 阜(hill) and 云(old form of 雲 meaning clouds), and phonetic 今(OC: krɯm). in bronze script it was composed of(probably) a semantic 阜 and phonetic 今(source: hanziyuan), so it is likely 云 was later added on as an extra semantic component, similar to the development of 贛 where an extra semantic 貝 was often added. 三河孝達(雝之) (talk) 02:28, 2 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
