Is there a source for the linking of "salon" to "sarang"? On quick research, sarangs appeared during the relatively isolationist mid-Joseon period, but I'm not seeing any information about where it originated from. Did it originate from the West, pass through China, and then to Korea? But upon googling, China doesn't use the term at all, and I've never encountered the concept personally in Chinese history, only in Korean history. Toobigtokale (talk) 00:49, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
