It seems that you missed the comment from the move on the redirecting page. Perhaps MediaWiki should add it to the destination as well... Anyway:
  • The etymology is nomos (law) not onoma (name)
  • I found several lexicons that list it like this
  • Wikipedia lists it like this
However since many people mistakenly believe that it is called "-onomy" (including you it seeems) the question is what we should do with "-onomy"? --Patrik Stridvall 16:34, 23 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
